I bought a used 1996 BMW knowing very little about cars, let alone German cars. I was hesitant to go into a mechanic because of fear of being taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge and expense estimates-- however, the guys at Car Tender were very honest with me, always consulted with me before continuing work on the car, and would give me a clear estimate along with their honest opinion about whether it was worth getting fixed now or something that I could hold off on. They by no means were out to take my money. I got my brakes fixed here and they did a great job and got it done the same day. When the radiator overheated and the motor died, they didn't try to convince me to pay them money for a new motor (though I know they would have done a great job had I had the money). I ended up selling the car. They let it sit in the lot for a little bit while I was selling it and they even were open to answering questions to interested buyers. Their customer service is great, they know a lot about cars, they're not out to take your money, and I highly recommend their services.
