I’ve been a dedicated Client of CarTender for more than 21 years now…even followed them to Shoreline from the hill. They have shared mutual enthusiasm for all 6 of the vehicles I have owned during this period. I finally own my two ultimate dream cars, and they continue to learn more about Porsches to give me better service than the dealership! I feel so lucky to have been directed to Car Tender to try and fix an issue with my BMW the giant dealer/service center in Seattle for 3 painful years couldn’t figure out that Car Tender figured out and fixed immediately. I highly recommend this company and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else now. My experience has been literally the best I’ve had with anything relating to cars. My BMW started showing issues just after purchasing it and for the past three years no one has been able to solve it until I was redirected to Car Tender where they immediately diagnosed it and fixed it. I spent three very frustrating and demotivating years at the “big guys” in Seattle getting nowhere in a very toxic male atmosphere to suddenly finding the coolest nicest and most caring humans at Car Tender. John immediately took ownership of the issue and was highly communicative throughout the entire process with me as he helped navigate the repair with the warranty and original dealership to cover costs. I can’t thank them enough!

I was in absolute shock at the level of disrespect I received from this shop. I feel so ripped off. The man I worked with would talk on and on, in a really demeaning way. The cost I was quoted for my bleed hose was abnormally high, but I had no other options at the time. Now the car is at a new shop and I got quotes which were all 1/3 of their price. I had asked many times if my car was drive-able about 4 miles to get it to another shop and again his answers were not clear and I felt taken advantage of. Rude/poor treatment as a paying customer. In the end, I paid the invoice, showed up to get my car, and got laughed at by him and two other male workers for coming back in and asking a question about safety, as he told me it sounded like I should go back to my old shop. Poor service. A chauvinistic vibe/just trying to get more money by reporting with new issues after one thing is fixed.

I brought my 2008 Mini to Car Tender based on a friend’s recommendation after a bad experience with my previous mechanic. In addition to addressing the issue I was having with my car effectively and swiftly, Paolo - who took care of me and my car - was communicative in providing me with status updates, estimates, and counsel. The mechanics and Paolo were thorough in getting to know my car, without the aggressive upselling that you find with service shops at the dealer. I drove home happily after picking up my car yesterday, both because my car was running smoothly and because I knew I had a mechanic I could trust.

John and the rest of his team are class acts. Very knowledeable, friendly, and charismatic bunch of folks. They were recommended by a good friend of mine who takes his Mercedes there for repair. Although picky of where i take my car, I needed some place that wasn't going to break my bank, that was honest and trust worthy. Car Tender really fits the bill. What could have cost me over a thousand at the Audi dealership to replace my oil sender, gasket and screws that came loose which caused oil to drain out of the entire car - saved me hundreds going there. If you have a European car and want a no BS, no pressure, super laid back, honest to God, type shop - go there! They don't have that sales shark, fear mongering demeanor that most shops do where they threaten that if you don't get something done, your car will break down. It really has that feel of your best friend working on your car who won't sell you something you don't need. This is absolutely THE BEST car repair experience I have ever had. They were my go to guys when they were on Capitol Hill. AND NOW are right in my neighborhood at 163rd and Aurora. They are experts mechanics, dedicated to solving problems, excellent communicators and genuinely very nice capable and trustworthy people
