Best Independent car shop in Seattle . No contest !

The repairs were done very well, at a 5 star level. The rating is only 4 stars due to how long they took. The last item fixed, which was just replacing a belt, dragged on for over a week, and I had to nag them to finish. My classic Jaguar cars are uncommon, so only one mechanic is prepared to work on them, which partly accounts for the delay. I will return, however, despite the delays, as the Jaguar mechanic is far better than any others I have encountered. He even found and replaced a bad capacitor in an ECU in a 35 year old car, so is far beyond the typical mechanic. He has previously fixed performance issues which other Jaguar specialists had failed to solve.

I appreciated the thorough diagnosis, an accurate assessment of charges even. I was out of town but it was easy to work with Paolo and decide how to proceed. I feel very good about the work that was done. My car was clean as a whistle when I picked it up.

Left a flat tire to fix. They called to say it wasn't fixable. No charge at all and very helpful and friendly. EXCELLENT!

Car Tender is the best! They understand complicated euro cars and are great to work with. I couldn't keep my old BMW of CT didn't exist. Highly recommend.

Why we love Car Tender - Tender is right. 2001 BMW 540i has been cared for by the shop for 7+ years. It runs ... no, it purrs ... when it comes back home. The best thing they did for me at the outset was make me smarter about the long-term maintenance of the Beast. It's not a cheap car to maintain so being able to budget with the shop's advice has put me in the position to keep it for a good, long time and when it's someone else's turn to have this car, they will have a unicorn.
