I’ve had my 1980 450 SL serviced by several different shops in the PNW. David at Car Tender is by far the most knowledgeable and skilled technician I’ve worked with by a long shot. Rob was on point was the service communications, both emails and text. Great experience, plan of doing more with the CT team.

I found the service here for a simple oil change to be outstanding!!! And they followed up with more service on a tiny issue. Friendly, and above the norm …. I have already told several friends to go there and won’t stop doing that. Paolo is GREAT !!!

The guys at Car Tender take great care of my car. I recently bought a used Mini and almost immediately got a check engine light on it. They inspected the vehicle and determined it had a failed environmental air catalyst sensor, which meant that not only did the sensor need to be replaced but also the radiator ( it's in the middle of the radiator). Paolo at Car Tender knew that this car had an extended warranty that covered this defect, and he immediately called the Mini dealership and made arrangements for me to take my car in to the dealership to be fixed. The dealership made the repairs without charge. Car Tender goes out of its way to take care of its customers. They are good people.

My experience with Car Tender was nothing short of phenomenal. From our very first communication, I could tell that the folks at Car Tender were special and thoroughly enjoyed the work they do in helping customers keep their cars on the road, in my case, a 1980s Mercedes W123. Rob at Car Tender was my associate, but everyone at the shop welcomed me with open arms, explained to me in detail what they would be doing with my car, and provided some of the best documentation and follow-up that I have ever seen in the car industry. If you wish to save your money, I would advise against visiting this establishment. Their prices are higher than those of dealerships. My Mercedes' air conditioning stopped functioning, so I took it to the Mercedes dealership where I received an estimate of $2105.21. Since this seemed high, I decided to seek a second opinion from Car Tender. Although I provided the estimate given by the dealership, they insisted on creating their own by Rob as they were unsure of the experience level of the dealership technician, and if the work outlined in the estimate was followed exactly yet failed to solve the issue, it would create an awkward situation. At the time, I understood this logic. Rob from Car Tender then informed me that "Our Mercedes expert has 40 years of experience." Only later did I realize this likely meant he was expensive. After dropping off my vehicle in the morning, Car Tender called to say that repairing the AC would cost around $750. Despite my initial doubts about bringing my car here but it seemed like I made the right choice and I generally support local businesses. However, this turned out to be a mistake. Several hours later, I received a text from Car Tender stating that the repair would actually cost around $3000 and take 4-5 days. The new estimate sent by Car Tender was identical to the dealership's estimate but $800+ higher, despite the fact that the issue with the AC was the same as identified by the dealership, and I had even provided the dealership's estimate. Apparently, the higher cost is due to their Mercedes technician having more experience than the dealership technician. When I asked why the costs differed so greatly despite the issues being the same, and even though the dealership service person explained the necessary work in person which aligned with Car Tender's assessment, they replied that the estimates do not match line by line. I then expressed my desire to work with them and offered to obtain an exactly matching estimate from the dealership. In response, the service person essentially told me that there was nothing they could do, and that I should pay the invoice (around $500) and leave. If you want to hold onto your hard-earned money, I strongly advise against using this business.

Great experience with Car Tender! Paulo was exceptionally communicative throughout the process of getting service on my BMW X1. The shop is about 25 minutes from my house, in Shoreline. However, the top-tier customer service was worth making the trek.

The team at car tender are AMAZING. I called Tuesday hoping and praying they could help me find, mount, balance 6 tires before I lift for a trip Thursday. Johnny Mac went way beyond what I expected. My hopes and prayers were answered. I love these guys. Won’t go any place else.
